Wives' Program
A pastor's wife is a crucial part of his ministry. New Geneva Academy prepares the wives of our students to walk with their husbands in the trenches of ministry, knowing the gospel, loving God's people, caring for women in the church, and practicing hospitality.
First Year
In the first year of the Wives' Program, the women study Systematic Theology, allowing them and their husbands to interact together with the doctrines of the historic Christian faith. They meet weekly with experienced elders' and pastors' wives, to support one another, bear one another's burdens, and be prepared for life as a pastor's wife.
Second Year
The second year leads students' wives into a deeper understanding of the gospel and helps them make personal application of God's grace to their own lives and families.
Third Year
In the third year of their husband's preparation, wives discuss the practicalities of being married to a pastor and how to help in his work by learning how to counsel women. They also prepare to use their homes as centers for ministry by studying Christian hospitality.
