Church officer Training
NGA provides its supporting churches with access to training resources to be used by the local church for targeted growth. An annual conference will be held at the supporting church. The format will be a series of pre-recorded videos with Pastor Tim Bayly, used by local pastor to lead discussion of the board of elders over the course of months/year.
And, a 2-day conference led by Pastor Tim will take place at your local church.

Conference 1: The Church Reformed and Always Reforming
While it is true the Lord is sanctifying individuals, we must remember that He is sanctifying a Bride for Himself (Eph 5:25-27). The road of sanctification for any local congregation is painful. It is easy to get stuck in our ways, follow the traditions of men and be tempted by the spirit of the age to conform to this world. In what ways is the Lord calling your church to be transformed, to return to the basics: devotion to the apostle’s teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer? Use this video series and conference as a springboard for self-reflection and a kickstart to make the tough changes needed by a church-always-reforming.
Conference 2: The Work of Elders
With the Ministers of the Word, the Elders are called to exercise spiritual oversight over the church. These men are to be shepherds, not merely allocators of resources and funds. Renewal in the church must start with those men who “live among the people” and keep watch over their souls.
Conference 3: The Work of Pastors
In past generations, a key element of pastoral ministry was pastoral care. But have we lost sight of pastoral care, and do we even know what it means today? In this video series and conference, we will review what pastoral care has meant throughout church history and bring his decades of experience to equip a Session that wants to faithfully care for the flock under their care.
